Our Way to Overland Expo West 2019 - Day 1
We decided to make our way to Overland Expo West as a 4 day expedition on back country roads less traveled. Here we are on Day 1 with some fun challenges and cool scenery from desert creeks to pine trees. Much of our route was new to us on this journey which proved to be challenging and rewarding. This Arizona expedition started off near Bumble Bee and headed north along remote back roads and trails.

Back to AZ Badlands we go but this time we have 16 riders and most of them were new to this fat biking heaven. The terrain just blew their minds with its hard packed crumbly type canyon walls and unknown riding treasures around each corner. So much fun to share this unique area to friends of the Fat Biking community. Always looking forward to the next trip to see what sections have changed from...

Took a day trip out to the Black Pearl Mine. Its located out in the Camp Wood area of Yavapai County Arizona. It is a Tungsten mine that operated between 1915 to 1935. The existing structures are slowly breaking down but still provide a really cool view of how the operation once was. The day trip is worth while to see in person. The washes are fairly smooth with the occasional 1 to 2 foot water falls that are super fun t...

    Rock crawling has to be one of the stupidest, boring sports since golf. It proves nothing,requires zero skill level. I have been riding off road my whole life I will never understand why you want to go 1 mile an hour and flip your $100,000 vehicle. No reply needed because I’ve heard them all and I don’t give a crap. Stupid,slow,boring waste of time.

    Looks like if you're going to be going on trails like that, you need to get a lift kit and some bigger tires!!! Some of that it looks like you barely made it! Lots of fun huh???!!!

    I'll say one thing those miners really knew how to build ladders!!! I've seen ladders in mines from the early 1800s that were in great shape!!!

    It just freaks me out how much wood is in all these mines! With the price of lumber now you could get very rich!!!

    Looks like in that mine you could be walking on a false floor and never know it!!! Definitely a dangerous place!!!

    Unfortunately since this video came out the blm had torn down all the structures and bulldozed and imploded all of the adits it doesn’t take the government long once you put them on you tube

  • @ronaldmarberry9719
    @ronaldmarberry9719 Рік тому

    Looking at it on Google earth looks like the adits are all imploded now and covered over the wooden structures and buildings are all gone now it doesn’t take the blm long once you put it on you tube the rush out and seal them up !

    Awesome video! I love stuff like this. Also, thanks for not putting a whole lot of music over this. The extreme quietness adds to the unsettling creepiness factor.

    Also, if he would've just listened to the guy spotting and went driver/over here, instead of over there/passenger he probably woulda been fine as well. But as someone that doesn't listen or take orders very well, I probably would've done the same. LOL. I would like to know what size lift and tires that TJ has on it, and how it did out there besides this video. My dream has always been to go to Moab whether I'm in My rig, or just watching. Would be happy either way.
